Meet The Board
Tim Holland
Chair
Tim Holland is a life-long member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, including baptism and confirmation. Tim is married to Jonna Holland and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He was the past chair of the Endowment Fund and served on a KMLC Call Committee. He is a graduate of UNL and Harvard Graduate School of Design and a founder of Holland Basham Architects. He designed the renovations to the KMLC Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Kountze Commons, church offices, and library and assisted with attic structure and stained-glass windows. He is a past chair of the Omaha Urban Design Review Board and chairman for Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands.
Lisa Chinn
Vice Chair
Lisa Chinn, PhD, is an Assistant Professor, Data Services, at UNMC's McGoogan Health Sciences Library. She has been a member of Kountze since 2017. She is originally from Colorado, and has lived everywhere from Washington, D.C. to Atlanta to Durham, North Carolina, before moving to Omaha. She enjoys volunteering in the food pantry at Kountze Commons, as well as involvement in the Stewardship Committee for Kountze Memorial. When not working, she enjoys running, hiking, and biking.
Dale Broekemeier
Treasurer
Dale Broekemeier is a retired Omaha businessman. He was the Co-Founder and President of Idelman Telemarketing. Dale and his wife, Tina, split time between Omaha and Crested Butte, Colorado.
Deborah Hinrichs
Secretary
Deb Hinrichs and husband, Steve, have been members of Kountze since 1991. She has served as a Sunday School teacher, confirmation instructor, member of the Worship and Music Committee, two-term member of the Congregational Council, New Member Follow-up Committee, and chair of the most recent Senior Pastor Call Committee before joining the Kountze Commons Board of Directors in 2018.
